The Jacksonville Jaguars and Buffalo Bills have agreed to trade wide receiver Mike Williams and wide receiver Marquise Goodwin to the Houston Texans for linebacker Mike Williams, according to a league source.
The deal is for Williams, who was released by the New Orleans Saints earlier this month.
Williams, 26, played in three games for the Jaguars last season and had two tackles.
The team will retain the rights to Goodwin, who has been out of the league since suffering a knee injury in December.
He has a year remaining on his contract.
The Jets signed Williams in March and he played in seven games last season before suffering a torn Achilles tendon in his right knee.
Williams is a third-round pick in this year’s draft.
The Bills, who also released wide receiver Sammy Watkins earlier this week, are still waiting on a medical clearance from the team that would allow them to sign Williams.
